Atlanta Aero Club Hosts Toys for Tots Drive and Local Marines at Year-End Holiday Party

Georgia’s aviation professionals will honor Toys for Tots at their holiday celebration, made complete with a wine, beer, and cheese pairing at Tucker Brewing Co.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Aero Club (AAC) will gather aviation professionals for an afternoon of holiday spirit at the club’s year-end event titled “Sip, Taste, Mingle & Soar Holiday Gathering.” The event will take place on December 10, 2025, at the award-winning Tucker Brewing Co. in Tucker, GA, and this will also be the AAC’s first philanthropic event supporting Atlanta Toys for Tots. 

To treat the AAC community this holiday season, this networking experience will feature a wine, beer, and cheese pairing, curated by the culinary experts at Tucker Brewing Co. Attendees will have the chance to experience how German-style lagers and select wines perfectly complement artisan cheeses from around the world, all while discussing the state of Georgia’s aviation and aerospace industry. Adding to the festivities, Tucker Mayor-Elect Anne Lerner will welcome attendees to the event, and local Marine Corps service members will be on site to collect toy donations for Toys for Tots.

More than a holiday party, this will be a chance for AAC members and fellow aviation professionals to:  

• Strengthen relationships with new and existing AAC members. 

• Toast to shared connections and successes.

• Learn about new resources and opportunities.

• Support families in the local community. 

“I’m thrilled to welcome the Atlanta Aero Club for their Holiday Beer, Wine & Cheese Pairing at Tucker Brewing on December 10th. Events like this strengthen connections and showcase our community spirit. As the daughter of a former Marine, I’m especially proud this event supports Toys for Tots. Having Marines on-site to collect donations makes it even more meaningful, and I hope it inspires strong community support," said Anne Lerner, Tucker Mayor-Elect. 

This has been a year of growth for the Atlanta Aero Club, as the organization appointed its new president, Lisa Senters of Jet Senters Aviation. Senters is the first woman ever to lead the nonprofit.

“This has been a big year for the Atlanta Aero Club, and we’re excited to gather our members together for this holiday event to celebrate the year we’ve had and also show our support for families in our community as well as our service members,” said Lisa Senters, President of the AAC. “We’re honored to have the support of Anne Lerner, local Marines, and prominent figures in Georgia’s aerospace and aviation network for this event. We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings,” she added.
