Nicolas Chabbert is VP Sales & Marketing worldwide for EADS Socata and President of the US division, EADS Socata North America, Inc. Since 2005, he was VP of Customer Service. Previously with the company from 1992 until 2001, Nicolas served in a number of management positions and was in charge of direct sales and then the management of the European distributor network. Nicolas was Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing of the U.S. subsidiary Socata Aircraft (the former name for EADS Socata North America) for five years beginning in June 1996, and reintroduced the TBM 700 and TB line in the U.S. market.

Prior to his positions with EADS Socata, he was with Mooney Aerospace Group, LLC from July 2002 till the end of 2004, as Executive Vice President. During his term, he has successfully reintroduced the Mooney line in the market and established the new Sales organization. He has been responsible for major changes in the product definition, such as the introduction of the Garmin G1000 all-glass flightdeck and worked on several business models for the company.

From 2001 to 2002, he was the CEO of EXA SA in Geneva, Switzerland, a start-up company of industrial machines. Nicolas received a Master's degree in 1992 from l'Ecole Superiere Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquees, a French school of commerce, which is equivalent to a Master of Business Administration with a degree in "International Business."

He has an Airline Transport rating and is an accomplished flight instructor in both piston and turbine aircraft. He is married with three children.
